Shawanaga First Nation Youth Council is made up of 5 members, elected into position by our peers. Each of us, with a strong vision of the changes we want to make happen. We are the voice of the youth in our community. We have distinct ideas, opinions, concerns and knowledge. The diversity of our perspectives and experiences are what make us such an important part of the community.

The APS website includes a lot of useful information, such as surveys, elder abuse prevention and employment vacancies. Also, the APS newsletter will be uploaded to the website very soon.

Vision - Gezhtoojig Employment and Training will be the leading resource centre for all Anishnabek people in employment, training and business services.
Mission - Gezhtoojig Employment and Training as a circle of Anishnabek people with a vision of self determination will foster and direct Aboriginal employment, training and business development initiatives. We will develop public and private partnerships with all employment and business sectors to promote the employability and economic success of Anishnabek people.
